SURE HE CAN BE A SARCASTIC TROLL ASSHOLE FROM TIME TO TIME BUT ITS NOT DONE WITH HATE AND MALICE BECAUSE WE ARE A BIT OF A WACKED OUT TROUPE HERE. I ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS HAVE SEEN CRAN HELP ANYONE WHO ASKS FOR IT AND IF HE DIDNT KNOW HED SEND THEM TO SUPPORT. HE WAS FANTASTIC AS A MOD AND WAS INCREDIBLE FAIR HANDING OUT WARNINGS AND DISPOSING OF THOSE THAT NEEDED TO GO. HE EVEN HOSTED A FEW GAMES TO THE PEOPLE IN CHAT THAT KEPT THINGS INTERESTING AND HE WAS A SUPPORTIVE PLAYER AND WAS KICK WITH A JOKE. That is what privilege is... people of color(indians) have had to face such remarks as an insult for years and now a mod using it just for fun is not acceptable. People say that Cran insults everyone and uses such remarks as a joke for every person not targeting one community, does that make it right?? It makes him even more wrong showing that his privilege that he can use the words used as an insult on us for so many years as a an “edgy sense of humor” ! We all have been a part of this site for long and we understand humor but this was way past it. Again repeating the same thing that so many non people of color will not mind is this: cran using slurs/jokes on everyone and using such jokes and slurs on people who have been fighting this for years makes a huge difference. It is not something to be used in as a joke! He could just have apologised and moved on from it. None of this would have happened.But no!!!! He chose to keep on dragging it. Even after we let it go he kept bringing it up even till today ;4 days after the incident! For us he was a representative of BC game and do you Coco want such kind of representation!?? Thin line between edgy and fun sense of humor and crassy. Becoming a MOD is a win-win thing, i.e if you have the rights, you can also use the ‘MOD’-label to develop your own affiliate plan. I want all our MOD-application to become a formal thing hence forward. These will be applicable henceforth for all applications: 1. How long have you been associated with BC? 2. Bro, i usually never say this, but Caps - Literally hurt me to read your post. Would have rather you just shouted in my ear tbh. In all seriousness though, you have to remember, perception is everything in such a case. And apparently what was perceived by multiple individuals was that there were racist comments being made by a BC mod. Mods are at the public forefront of the casino, and their actions are taken as a direct reflection of the casinos views, which in this case was not a good thing. I understand what you're saying, but this was a business decision rather than a personal one. You have to remember, the outcome would have been the same for a job IRL. I've seen executives get fired for less, at least in the area of race/religion/gender. We really need to be mindful of each other here, and certain things just cant be tolerated at any level, joke or not. I wish things were different where we could all understand each others intentions, but unfortunately all we have to go off is the words on the page. Hopefully this gives you a little more insight as to why those decisions had to be made internally. It was literally forced due to the actions.
